Dallas Glenn's Road to NHRA Pro Stock Glory: A Champion's Story (2025)

A Dream Realized: Dallas Glenn's Historic NHRA Pro Stock Championship

The Road to Glory

For many sportsman racers, the NHRA "big show" is the ultimate dream, and Dallas Glenn seized his opportunity with both hands. In 2025, Glenn became the Mission Foods NHRA Pro Stock World Champion, a title he had come so close to achieving the previous year.

"It's an incredibly special feeling, especially after last year's near-miss," Glenn shared. "The emotions are a bit different this time; there's no adrenaline rush from being in the car, but it's an amazing sensation nonetheless.

I remember telling my crew back at the pit that I couldn't imagine doing anything normal right now. From my first Pro Stock win, where we had to wait due to timing issues, to this moment, it's all a blur of emotions. I don't think it's fully sunk in yet, but I'm enjoying every second of it.

And here's where it gets controversial..."

A Champion's Resilience

Glenn's journey to the top was not without its challenges. In 2024, he faced a heart-breaking loss in the final round against Greg Anderson, missing out on the championship by a mere two-thousandths of a second. But this setback only fueled his determination.

"Next season, I get to carry the number one on my car, taking it from Greg's. It's a swap, and I'm proud to have earned it," Glenn said with a smile.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Glenn's talent was evident from an early age. He won the Super Gas national event at the 2011 Northwest Nationals and had a successful stint in Stock Eliminator. His transition to the KB Titan team as a crewmember eventually led to his chance behind the wheel of a Pro Stock car in 2021.

"Double-O Dallas" was born, a nickname reflecting his quick reactions and multiple holeshot wins. In just four events, Glenn found himself in the winner's circle at the 4-Wide Nationals in Charlotte. He went on to win two more events that year, securing the Rookie of the Year award and solidifying his place among the Pro Stock elite.

Dominance and Dedication

Since his debut season, Glenn has consistently proven his prowess. In his first 91 races, he amassed an impressive record: 21 wins in 40 final rounds, an enviable 185-69 record in elimination rounds, and a reputation as one of Pro Stock's all-time greats.

The 2025 season saw Glenn at his absolute best. He kicked things off with a win at the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals and followed it up with victories in Seattle, Reading, Dallas, and both Las Vegas and Charlotte events. With a perfect record of 50-9 in elimination rounds and not a single round one loss, Glenn dominated the tour.

"It's been an incredible season, one I wish could go on forever, even though we're the points leaders and ending it means we're champions. But when things are going your way, you've got to grab it with both hands. We had the car, the team, and the determination to win, both on and off the track," Glenn reflected.

A Champion's Legacy

Glenn's success extends beyond the race track. He has earned the respect of his peers and the admiration of fans for his dedication and humility. Unlike many drivers, Glenn is more than just a hired talent; he's an integral part of the KB Titan team. He works daily at the team's headquarters in Mooresville, N.C., getting his hands dirty as a mechanic and even driving the team transporter between events. His commitment to the sport and his team is unparalleled.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to pursue my dreams and to be part of such an amazing team. It's an honor to represent KB Titan and to contribute to their success," Glenn said.

And this is the part most people miss... Glenn's story is a testament to the power of resilience and hard work. His journey from sportsman racer to NHRA Pro Stock World Champion is an inspiration to us all. So, what do you think? Is Glenn's success a well-deserved triumph, or is there more to this story?
